About Cameroon
Cameroon is a country in West Africa which is home to a diverse range of cultures and landscapes. It is not hugely popular with tourists thanks to the media coverage about anti-Westerner terrorist group Boko Haram, which operates in northern Cameroon. However, for those wanting to visit the country, there are certainly some interesting things to see and do. Most of the tourist attractions can be found in the francophone Yaounde district, such as the Limbe Botanic Garden and the National Museum of Yaounde and the Kribi, featuring interesting artefacts and artwork from Cameroon.
There is also the Marché de Fleurs where tourists can pick up souvenirs in the form of local craft products, and there is a diverse range of delicious food on offer in the restaurants which tend to focus on European and Oriental cuisine.
