Why not take a visit to the beautiful Salto Cristal Falls? A truly amazing sight to behold, not seen by many, the Salto Cristal Falls is one of the hidden gems of Paraguay. Although it is not very easy to reach, the waterfall is a fantastic 70 metres high, surrounded by lush foliage and a clear water pool. For some true peace and quiet, hike out to this slice-of-paradise location where you can take time out from the modern world to simply sit and admire the skills of nature.
Visit Paraguay in February! February is festival time, so the streets of the country are filled with traditional music, carnivals, performers in bright costumes and much more. Plus with several museums documenting the rich history of Paraguay, there is always plenty to do.
